In its strategy to strengthen its position in South-East Asia, Air Liquide has set a subsidiary in Thailand (ALT) in 1992 and continuously invested since then :
- 1992 : start-up of Nong Khae - Saraburi air separation plant ( oxygen, nitrogen and argon )
- 1993 : start-up compressed gas centre ( hydrogen, argon, nitrogen and gas mixtures, specialty and high- purity gases )
- 1995 : start-up the first 3 units of Nitrogen generators in Thailand ( APSA and membrane technologies )
- 1997 : start-up additional 2 Nitrogen generators.
- 1998 : start-up 2nd air separation plant, at Leam Chabang - Chonburi ( oxygen, nitrogen and argon )
- 1999 : start-up 3rd plant in Thailand, in Map Ta Phut – Rayong producing carbon monoxide, hydrogen, high pressure steam and demineralized water.
- 2000 /2001 : start-up 4th plant at Map Ta Phut - Rayong to produce CO, H2, Steam and DMW.
- 2002 : start 2nd oxygen plant at Laem Chabang - Chonburi
- 2004 : start 3nd oxygen plant at Laem Chabang - Chonburi
- 2004 : Expand lab and special gas local manufacturing at Nong Khae - Saraburi
ALT supplies currently some of the most demanding industries in Thailand, in terms of reliability of supply and quality of service.
